GTA 6 has two playable protagonists, Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, plus six supporting characters with an official Rockstar profile: Brian Heder, Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre'Quan Priest, Real Dimez and Raul Bautista. The only confirmed actor is Stephen Root (Brian); Lucia's voice is attributed to Manni L. Perez, with no official confirmation. The Extended Look added more names: Lori Heder, Val, Andrés de León, Petra Navarro and Raymond.

Protagonist

Lucia Caminos

Lucia Caminos is one of the two playable protagonists in GTA 6 and the series' first female lead since it went 3D. Rockstar says fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary and "sheer luck" got her out. Her voice is attributed to Manni L. Perez, although there is no official confirmation.

Protagonist

Jason Duval

Jason Duval is the other playable protagonist in GTA 6. Rockstar says he grew up around grifters, did a stint in the Army to shake off a troubled youth and ended up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners. He lives rent-free in one of Brian Heder's houses in exchange for favors. Nobody has confirmed who voices him.

Supporting character

Boobie Ike

Boobie Ike is a Vice City street legend turned businessman, Rockstar says, with real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His big bet is Only Raw Records, the label he runs with Dre'Quan Priest. In the Extended Look Jason and Lucia run an errand for him; his face hasn't been clearly shown yet.

Supporting character

Brian Heder

Brian Heder is a veteran drug runner from the Leonida Keys, "from the golden age of smuggling", as Rockstar puts it. He still moves product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and lets Jason live rent-free in one of his houses in exchange for help. He is played by Stephen Root, as the actor himself confirmed.

Supporting character

Cal Hampton

Cal Hampton is Jason's friend and a fellow associate of Brian Heder in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar paints him as a stay-at-home conspiracy theorist who listens in on Coast Guard comms over a few beers and wonders "what if everything on the internet was true?". His face in the videos is our own identification, unconfirmed.

Supporting character

Dre'Quan Priest

Dre'Quan Priest is a Vice City hustler who always wanted to make it in music. Rockstar says he dealt to make ends meet and now runs Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike. He has signed the Real Dimez. He is the only one of the eight officially profiled characters who hasn't been identified in any video.

Supporting character

Real Dimez

Real Dimez is the rap duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school. Rockstar says they turned the money they shook out of local dealers into spicy rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. An early hit with rapper DWNPLY launched them and, five years and a lot of trouble later, they've signed to Only Raw Records.

Supporting character

Raul Bautista

Raul Bautista is a seasoned bank robber who, Rockstar says, is always hunting for talent willing to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards. In the Extended Look he recruits Jason and Lucia: they deliver his car, outrun the police with him and end up in his crew. "A professional adapts," he tells them. His actor is unconfirmed.

Supporting character

Lori Heder

Lori Heder is Brian Heder's third wife and his partner at the boat yard in the Leonida Keys, according to Brian's official profile. Rockstar hasn't given her a profile of her own. In the Extended Look she welcomes Jason and Lucia at the Effluvia bar; which on-screen character she is is our own identification.

Supporting character

Val (Valentina)

Val is the woman who hires Jason and Lucia to protect Andrés de León in the Extended Look: "The job is Andrés de León. Protect him but keep him in line." That her name is Valentina and that she comes from GTA Online is IGN's reporting, not Rockstar's. She has no official profile, and her face on screen is our own identification.

Supporting character

Andrés de León

Andrés de León is the VIP Jason and Lucia protect in the Extended Look: he flies into Vice City on a private jet and ends up at the launch party for Megamundo's new headquarters. His name comes from the dialogue ("Lucia, Jason. Please meet Andrés de León"); which on-screen character he is is our own identification.

Supporting character

Petra Navarro

Petra Navarro is Megamundo's chief operating officer, per the Extended Look dialogue: "Jason and Lucia, this is Petra Navarro, COO of Megamundo." She gives the opening speech for Megamundo's first corporate headquarters on American soil just before an armed crew storms the party. She has no official profile.

Supporting character

Raymond

Raymond is the dealer Jason and Lucia go to see in the Extended Look's opening mission: "Go inside and ask for Raymond," they're told when they ask after Boobie. He runs a lab in an apartment block, and a call from a man named Ernesto warns him of a raid. Rockstar hasn't given him a profile; his face is our own identification.

Supporting character

Méndez

Méndez is the name shouted in the Extended Look when Jason and Lucia spot the man leading a police raid on Raymond's building: "It's fucking Méndez!" Rockstar has not given him a profile or a job title. That he is the cop from Trailer 2 is a fan-community link, not a Rockstar statement.

Supporting character

Stefanie

Stefanie is the woman behind a desk who asks Lucia "Do you know why you're here?" in the opening seconds of Trailer 1. Her name comes from the desk nameplate on screen ("Stefanie C…", surname cut off). Rockstar hasn't given her a profile or a job title.

Voice on the phone

Ernesto (Nesto)

Ernesto is the voice that calls Raymond in the Extended Look. Raymond calls him "Nesto" and the screen reads "Unknown". He warns that "our friends on the task force are on their way" and tells Raymond to let them take whatever they want. Only his voice is heard; his face is never shown.

Supporting character

Tía Tee

Aunt Tee is the neighbour who yells at Jason and Lucia when they burst through her apartment fleeing the raid in the Extended Look: "My AC! Don't you climb out my motherfucking window!" She is named in the dialogue ("Aunt Tee! C'mon now!"). Rockstar hasn't given her a profile.

Interactive NPC

Hammer Lady (Mujer del martillo)

"Hammer Lady" is the target label the Extended Look shows over a woman in a purple dress, next to the prompt "Question". It's an interface name, not a character introduction: Rockstar hasn't said who she is or what she offers. She appears near a dark-blue classic car and a motel.

Collector and local fixer

Wyman

Wyman is the "eccentric collector and local fixer" who, per the official Ultimate Edition description, commissions the "Classic Car Collection": finding abandoned or half-finished cars and restoring them to their former glory. He is known only from that text and from an image in the official collection gallery; there is no voice.

Local rapper

DWNPLY

DWNPLY is the local rapper behind Real Dimez's first hit, per Real Dimez's official profile on Only in Leonida, which says their first hit alongside local rapper DWNPLY took Real Dimez to the top. It's the only official mention; there's no image, voice or standalone profile.

Name mentioned

Gustavo

Gustavo is the name someone in Andrés de León's group uses in the Extended Look when introducing Lucia: "Gustavo, I want you to meet Lucia. She's part of the new security detail that we hired for Andrés." No job title or features are assigned to him, and Rockstar hasn't given him a profile.

Name mentioned

Elonzo

Elonzo is a friend of Andrés de León who is only mentioned: in the Extended Look Andrés says "a couple of Elonzo's producer friends are in town" and they'll do "a deep dive into my creative roadmap." He is never seen or heard, and Rockstar hasn't given him a profile.

Name mentioned

Loony

Loony is the name a character uses to greet a woman in Bayside in the Extended Look: "Loony! What's up, girl?" It's just a name heard once (17:36); no face or role is assigned and Rockstar hasn't given her a profile. This page also covers two other loose names from the video: Tina and Jimmy Canto.

TV ad presenter

Phil (Phil's Ammu-Nation)

Phil is the man in the TV ad inside Trailer 2 who tells viewers to "come to Phil's Ammu-Nation today: we got more guns than the law allows." He's seen and heard only in that spot; Rockstar hasn't given a surname or a profile. Whether he's Phil Cassidy from earlier games is a fan theory.

Mascot and TV show

Macca the Gator

Macca the Gator is the alligator of "Leonida's hit TV show" that inspired Rockstar's collector's edition, The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. He's a mascot, not a person: he appears on a 6-inch figure, a magnetic mirror and the edition's artwork, alongside Chunkee the Manatee.

Station hosts

Locutores de radio

Rockstar has introduced the hosts of six GTA VI radio stations: El Martillo and La Gata (Cocoteo FM), MW, Delta Dawne and Mud Dog Mike (Back Country Radio), Burna and Palmsy (AfroBank FM), DJ Kerry and DJ Tom (The Chamber 106.6), Robyn and Alex (Flash FM), and Trick and Trina (Dirty South Classics).
