Who is Andrés de León in GTA 6?
Andrés de León is the client in the third long mission of An Extended Look (August 27, 2026). Val hires Jason and Lucia to look after him for a night out and spells out the brief (official subtitles) Confirmed:
"The job is Andrés de León. Protect him but keep him in line. Gas him up. Boost his ego. Make him feel good about himself."
To which one of the couple sums it up: "Babysit." Rockstar hasn't given him a profile on Only in Leonida; his name only comes up in the dialogue.
Which one is Andrés in the video?
This needs care. Our shot database first tagged him as the bearded man in the magenta jacket. After going through the 4K video second by second, we changed our call:
- At 19:40 someone calls out "Andrés! It's been forever" just as a man in a fedora, sunglasses and a mustache comes down the jet stairs.
- That same man hugs the whole group while you hear "Sorry guys, I'm a hugger" (19:48).
- The man in the magenta jacket only turns up later, in the background, and hugs no one.
So this profile's portrait is the man in the fedora. It's still our own identification Likely.
What does Andrés do in the Extended Look?
| Time | What happens (official subtitles) |
|---|---|
| 19:45 | "Lucia, Jason. Please meet Andrés de León." "I'm a hugger, come in here!" |
| 20:03 | On the way: "You ready for this party bro?" "I'm ready for a party, I don't know about this party" |
| 20:46 | On arrival he asks whether the flight attendants signed NDAs: "NDA after the fact? That's a rookie move, bro" |
| 20:53 | His room: "24th floor executive conference room" |
| 21:01 | "Hey, honey, so a couple of Elonzo's producer friends are in town and we're gonna do a deep dive into my creative roadmap" |
| 22:34 | "Petra wants you. There's some big speech happening." "No! No fuck, fuck that shit" |
| 22:43 | "Frontal cortex is in overdrive, I mean, how many ideas did I just have in the last five minutes, bro?" |
| 24:18 | After the party is stormed: "Going upstairs. He's got Andrés" |
From the context the lines from 20:46 to 22:43 are his, though the subtitles don't say so Likely. The 24:18 line makes it clear that when an armed crew storms the party, somebody takes him Confirmed.
How is he connected to Petra Navarro and Megamundo?
The party celebrates the opening of Megamundo's first corporate headquarters on American soil. Petra is introduced to "Andrés' new security detail", and later someone tells him "Petra wants you" for the speech Confirmed. The "Hey, honey" at 21:01 hints at something between them. PC Gamer suspects a workplace romance, but that's a guess Rumor.
What don't we know about Andrés yet?
- Who he is: what he does, why he needs protection and what his "creative roadmap" is.
- Who takes him during the raid, and why.
- Whether the face we've identified is his Likely.
- Who voices him.
