Who is Val (Valentina) in GTA 6?
Val is the woman who gives Jason and Lucia the Megamundo party job in An Extended Look (August 27, 2026). Her name comes up in the dialogue: "So Val, I know it's a party but we are working, right?" (19:21) Confirmed. Rockstar hasn't given her a profile on Only in Leonida.
According to IGN, she is Valentina, a character who debuted in GTA Online in a cutscene for the Money Fronts update, stepping off a private jet and talking to Mr. Faber. That would make her the first character to cross over from GTA Online into GTA 6 Likely. Rockstar hasn't confirmed it.
What does Val do in the Extended Look?
The scene plays out in the private terminal at Vice City's airport and then on the runway at night. The subtitles don't say who speaks each line; going by context, the blonde woman with the updo giving the orders is Val. That identification is ours Likely.
| Time | What happens (official subtitles) |
|---|---|
| 19:07 | "Lucia, Jason. Come take a seat. I'm waiting on the ETA for the flight" |
| 19:16 | "Three more champagnes. Thank you." Then: "Trust me, a slight buzz will only help you" |
| 19:21 | "So Val, I know it's a party but we are working, right?" |
| 19:24 | "The job is Andrés de León. Protect him but keep him in line. Gas him up. Boost his ego. Make him feel good about himself" |
| 19:34 | "Babysit" |
| 19:40 | On the runway: "Andrés! It's been forever, how is everything?" |
| 19:45 | "Lucia, Jason. Please meet Andrés de León" |
IGN sums up her part: she hires Jason and Lucia as security for a VIP heading to a party that gets crashed by armed goons [Confirmed, shown in the video].
How is Val connected to the others?
- Andrés de León: she knows him from before ("It's been forever") and is the one who wants him protected Confirmed. See Andrés.
- Jason and Lucia: she gives them the job; from the tone, it isn't the first time they've met Likely.
- Tina: someone greets a Tina in the VIP lounge ("Tina! What's up, chula?"); it's not clear whether Val says it Likely.
- Petra Navarro and Megamundo: the night's destination is the launch party for Megamundo's new headquarters Confirmed. See Petra.
What don't we know about Val yet?
- Whether "Val" really is GTA Online's Valentina: IGN says so, Rockstar doesn't Likely.
- Who she works for and why she's paying for Andrés's security.
- Whether she has more missions or just this one.
- Who voices her.
How did we identify her?
Nobody at Rockstar has said which face is Val's. The identification is ours: in the Extended Look the dialogue calls her "Val", and in the shots from 19:16 to 19:57 the same woman is in the scene where she is named Likely. We have tagged five shots as hers (19:16, 19:20, 19:24, 19:33 and 19:57), all with the Probable seal, and her portrait comes from the 19:16 frame.
If Rockstar publishes an official profile or portrait for Val, we will swap the image and the seals on this page and flag it in the update date at the top.
