Leonida Bay Newsroom

How we verify

Updated

Leonida Bay is a GTA VI fan website, not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two. News is signed by the Leonida Bay Newsroom. This is the method: where each fact comes from, which label it gets and what happens when we get something wrong.

Which sources we use

Every story links its sources at the end, under «Sources». Each fact is credited to whoever said it, not to the outlet repeating it.

Official
Rockstar Games (Newswire, rockstargames.com/VI and its official channels), Take-Two Interactive (earnings and press releases) and the official PlayStation and Xbox stores.
Press
Outlets and reporters with a track record on Rockstar. When several outlets report the same thing, we look for who published it first and on what source.
Leaks and insiders
We only cover them when an outlet reports them, we name the source and its reliability, and we never link leaked material.

What each label means

Every story carries one of these three labels at the top, next to the update date. It's the same on the site, in the data for search engines and in alerts.

Confirmed
Rockstar or Take-Two say so, or it appears on an official channel (store listing, age rating, press release). Even when an outlet reports it, the label follows the original source.
Likely
Reported by outlets or insiders with a track record, or several independent sources agree, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed it.
Rumor
A single source, an unverified leak or an inference. Handle with care, and the story says so.

How a story gets made

The newsroom follows official sources and GTA VI press coverage every day. When something new appears, we check the fact against its origin, pick the label and write the story in Spanish and in English. Since October 2026 the English version is written separately; older stories that were machine-translated say so under the date.

The standfirst answers the headline on its own: what happened, who says so and since when. If something isn't known, we say it plainly: «Rockstar hasn't detailed it».

How we correct mistakes

If a fact is wrong or changes (a rumor Rockstar confirms or denies), we fix the story, change the label if needed and the «Updated» date moves to the date of the fix.

If you spot a mistake, email contacto@leonidabay.com with the story link and the source that shows it.

Pages that get updated

The release date and price page, «What we know», leaks, characters, map and vehicles gather what has been published. They carry their own update date.
