Who is Macca the Gator in GTA 6?
Macca the Gator is a Leonida mascot, an alligator who gives his name to the "hit TV show" that inspired Rockstar's collector's edition. The September 24, 2026 Newswire says the Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is "inspired by Leonida's hit TV show, Macca the Gator." He isn't a story character with Jason and Lucia who has been shown in video.
What does the Macca collection include?
The limited box arrives November 19, the same day as the game, and Rockstar lists:
- A 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with stash compartment.
- Matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses.
- New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback with Vice City Leonida embellishments.
- A Macca the Gator magnetic mirror.
- Vice City swizzle spoon and razor blade keychain.
- Leonida Keys crossbody bag, Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, enamel pin set and stickers.
- A double-sided souvenir poster of the Leonida landscape.
The text closes with "All brought to you by Macca and his wetland friends." The game is sold separately.
What does Macca look like in the official art?
The news image shows Macca holding a drink beside a sun in sunglasses, a flamingo peering over shades, and Chunkee the Manatee smoking a cigar. It's the loud, satirical cartoon tone the series uses for its advertising.
How does he relate to the game?
Rockstar presents Macca as part of Leonida's world, the "Goodtime State", where television is a staple gag. The man in the Phil ad in Trailer 2 is another example of that TV humour. Rockstar hasn't said whether the show will have in-game episodes or whether Macca will be a collectible, a character or just a brand.
What is still unknown?
- Whether the Macca the Gator show can be watched in the game.
- Who voices him, if he talks.
- Whether his art will show up on the map or in Leonida's shops.
