Who is Raymond in GTA 6?
Raymond is the first new character introduced in An Extended Look (August 27, 2026), in the mission that opens the video. Jason and Lucia show up at an apartment block to collect something for Boobie Ike and, when they ask around outside, they get pointed to him (official subtitles) Confirmed:
"Y'all know Boobie?" "Boobie, huh? Yeah, he ain't here, though." "Well, we're picking something up for him." "Yeah. Go inside and ask for Raymond, bruh."
Rockstar hasn't given him a profile on Only in Leonida. PC Gamer describes him as a dealer selling to Boobie.
What happens in Raymond's mission?
The couple have to ask more than once: "Raymond?" "Nah. Whatchu want?"; "Yo, is Raymond around?" "Nah, never heard of him." Eventually they're let into an apartment turned into a lab Confirmed.
| Time | What happens (official subtitles) |
|---|---|
| 2:37 | "Yo, Ray! These two say they're for Boobie." "I already told that motherfucker what the fuck going on, man" |
| 2:54 | "My partner's off the grid right now, you feel me? Until I figure out where the fuck he at, we in a holding pattern right here" |
| 3:02 | "So Boobie knows all this, right?" "Yeah, he fucking knows. Problem is he only worried about himself" |
| 3:21 | "Yo Ray, it's him. Ernesto." "Put it on speakerphone" |
| 3:28 | Ernesto: "Óyeme, mi hermano, we got a situation happening. Our friends on the task force are on their way… just let them take whatever they want, okay?" |
| 3:49 | "Hey, yo, Ray! It's twelve! They tooled up and everything!" |
| 4:00 | "I always been there for you. But this what I get?" "It is what it is, my friend" |
| 4:05 | "Police! Don't fucking move!" |
The mission ends in a shootout and an escape with "Boobie's bricks". From the context, the lines from 2:39 to 3:05 are Raymond's, though the subtitles don't say so Likely.
Does Ernesto betray Raymond?
That's the reading. Ernesto calls, talks about "our friends on the task force" on their way and tells him to let them take whatever they want. Raymond answers with a threat against Ernesto's family, and the raid arrives within seconds. Then you hear "I always been there for you. But this what I get?" [Confirmed, the dialogue]. PC Gamer sums it up as Ernesto betraying him Likely.
Which one is Raymond in the video?
The man with dreadlocks, a patterned bandana, gold chains and a gold grill who watches over the lab and takes the call. We deduce it from the scene: he's the one they call "Ray" and the one who picks up the phone. His name is official; his face is our identification Likely.
What don't we know about Raymond yet?
- Who his "off the grid" partner is and whether it has anything to do with Boobie.
- What happens to him after the raid.
- Who Ernesto is and whether he appears in the game.
- Whether the face we've identified is his Likely.
