Selfridges to open a GTA 6 experience on November 9

Selfridges, the London luxury department store, told followers on its official Instagram that they can experience the world of GTA 6 at its Oxford Street flagship from November 9, 2026. GTA Boom, a site covering the game, reports it.

The post points to the Selfridges Unlocked membership for details. What the experience includes is still unknown: Selfridges hasn't said whether it means merchandise, a pop-up, an installation or exclusive items. Rockstar Games hasn't announced it on its own channels either.

The clue came before the store event. Selfridges' Christmas and the City campaign gave its 12 Oxford Street windows to festive scenes from real cities, including Mexico City, Rio, Lagos, New York, Tokyo and Paris. One window went to the fictional Vice City.

Per GTA Boom, Santa shows up in that scene next to a Burger Shot cup. On October 29, @Vinewood_motors shared a photo of the window with a flag that, in its reading, shows Rockstar had some involvement. That's an interpretation of an image, not an announcement from the company.

A third claim points to Manchester. @GTASixInfo, a news account about the game, posted on November 5 that Rockstar is bringing "GTA 6: The Experience" to Selfridges at the Trafford Centre from November 9, citing @Vinewood_motors.

That detail doesn't appear in GTA Boom, which only mentions Manchester and Birmingham as other stores in the chain. Neither Selfridges nor Rockstar has put the Trafford Centre in writing. If you live in the north of England, wait for Selfridges to publish the location before planning a trip.

If you're in the UK, you'll get an in-person plan for the game before it's out. For everyone else, the calendar doesn't move: GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-load starts on November 12, according to Rockstar.

November 9 falls 10 days before launch. For perspective, the store opens its experience a week and a half before the game ships. That same day Take-Two Interactive reports its second fiscal quarter results.

Three answers are missing: what you can do inside, whether Rockstar is officially involved, and whether a second venue in Manchester exists. Selfridges can answer all three, and its Selfridges Unlocked membership is the channel it has pointed to.

The next clue arrives on November 9, when the experience is due to open. Until then, Selfridges' Instagram is the place to watch.
