GTA 6 puts Vice City cars on Miami streets and a blimp over NASCAR

@GTAVI_Countdown posted a video on October 17 showing "all 6 in-game cars Rockstar brought to real life" cruising around the city. @GTAlphaintel passed on a tip from another user (@Tallglassofwada) about GTA-inspired cars driving through Miami as part of the launch campaign.

Game Rant, writing on October 16, describes a convoy of brightly coloured cars with Leonida licence plates. It names a McLaren modded to look like the Progen Emerus, a Lamborghini Huracán in Vice City Police livery, and real-world versions of the Cheetah, Coquette D10, Tempesta and Manana. Push Square adds "Vice Beach Police Department" cars and notes that none of the stunts mention GTA 6 by name.

According to Motorsport.com, Goodyear is using its blimp with a new design and "Vice City" branding on the side. It will appear at Hard Rock Stadium in the coming weeks, then head to Homestead-Miami Speedway for NASCAR's title weekend, November 7-9, ten days before launch. @GTAVI_Countdown shared it on X on October 17. We covered the blimp's trip from Ohio in this earlier article.

Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has said who is paying for the cars or the blimp; outlets describe it as a marketing push without a direct confirmation. There is local background: the clash with Miami-Dade officials we reported in our piece on the Miami commissioner's 150 million marketing claim.

Vice City is the main city of the state of Leonida, modelled on Florida. Explore it in the Leonida Atlas and meet the leads on the characters page.
