FAQ
Is this the official GTA 6 map?
No. Rockstar has named six regions but has not published a full readable map. The base is the community reconstruction by State of Leonida (used with their permission); our work is the viewer, the tools and the trailer layer.
How many places are on the GTA 6 map?
The atlas shows 2,999 landmarks (hotels, residential buildings, shops, transport, government and more) from the State of Leonida database, plus its trailer, screenshot and leak markers. They are community reconstructions of places seen in trailers and leaks, not an official list from Rockstar.
Where do the landmarks come from?
From State of Leonida, which uses the community database at map.gtadb.org. Each place has a category, a position on the map and, when known, the real-world place that inspired it. We used them with their permission and credit them in the viewer, in the credits tab and in the exported image.
How big is the map of Leonida?
Rockstar has not given a figure. The atlas lets you pick an assumption (75, 83, 150 or 225 km²) and scales the ruler and the comparison to it.
Where are my annotations stored?
Only in your browser (localStorage). No account, nothing is sent to our server. You can export them as GeoJSON or JSON, as a PNG of the view, or share a link that encodes the view.
