Nothing happened. Why the World Cup Seemed Like the Perfect Date for the GTA 6 Trailer

The theory made sense. With the World Cup dominating all sports and entertainment coverage until July 19, some fans expected Rockstar to hold off on releasing the trailer so as not to compete for attention with the final. “When summer rolls around, we expect Rockstar to start promoting GTA 6.”
