Rockstar drops 38 new GTA 6 screenshots on its site

The 38 GTA 6 screenshots focus on Lucia and Jason and cover urban and rural scenery across Leonida. They sit in Rockstar's official launch gallery, introduced with one line: "the darkest side of America's sunniest place", in the Spanish version of the page.

Areajugones, which went through the set, says the protagonists are partying, driving, shooting and taking in the view. Plenty of background characters appear too, which hints at how crowded Vice City will be. Areajugones concludes everything is in-game footage because these are screenshots.

Generación Xbox adds that the site sorts the material by character and region. It names Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Grassrivers, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga, all of which already appear on our Leonida map.

For perspective, the 38 new images are a bit more than a third of the 99 now in the media section.

Two weeks: GTA 6 launches Thursday, November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar marks it on @RockstarGames with "Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away" and signs off with "See you in Leonida on November 19".

Vandal and Generación Xbox report the same. Vandal notes Rockstar hasn't announced a PC version, so PC players still have no date.

Generación Xbox says Rockstar has confirmed the install can take up to 212 GB, depending on the device. If you're on an Xbox Series S, you may have to delete a game first, so check your storage now rather than on the day of the pre-load.

Also on November 19, Generación Xbox reports, Rockstar will release a free Leonida map and an official poster you can download and print. That revives an old tradition of the series. Rockstar hasn't detailed the format of either one.

Areajugones says Rockstar has shared something about GTA 6 every Thursday since August 27, and November 5 was a Thursday too. Only one Thursday remains before launch: November 12. Rockstar hasn't said whether it will post anything that day.

Areajugones suggests vehicles, the map or regions might come next, but that's its guess, not an announcement. What is certain: Take-Two Interactive reports second-quarter fiscal results on Monday, November 9, another chance to hear something official.
