GTA 6: Rockstar Gives Miami Locals Free Wynwood Walls Entry
Rockstar partners with Wynwood Walls: free admission through 2028 for Miami-Dade residents, plus ten GTA 6 murals in the real-life neighborhood.
Rockstar Games has teamed up with Wynwood Walls, the open-air street art museum in Miami, to give Miami-Dade County residents free admission through 2028. Ten murals of original GTA 6 artwork are also now on show in the museum and around the neighborhood.
Several outlets are reporting the same story. This summary leans on Miami New Times, published on October 13, 2026, with Complex and Jointly News agreeing on the essentials.
Free entry for Miami locals
The offer started on Tuesday, October 13 and runs through 2028. To qualify, you need a valid photo ID showing a Miami-Dade County address. According to Complex, residents can sign up for a free digital membership online or at the museum's welcome center. It covers the rotating murals and sculptures, the spray-painting areas and the artist-in-residence programs.
In other words, strolling through the real Wynwood is for Miami-Dade folks only. The rest of us get the virtual one on November 19, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Ten GTA 6 murals in the real Wynwood
Vice City, the game's fictional take on Miami, has an area called Stockyard that is based on Wynwood. Some of the art made for that digital version now has a physical home. The ten new murals will stay up until January 1, 2027, some inside Wynwood Walls and others scattered across the streets nearby.
The project was produced by Goldman Global Arts, the collective founded by Wynwood Walls curator Jessica Goldman Srebnick. The lineup includes Miami artists Atomik and Tatiana Suarez, alongside Askew One, Denial, Faile, Gons and Audet, Lady Aiko, Queen Andrea, Ron English and Tristan Eaton.
Per the Wynwood Walls statement quoted by Miami New Times, the artists' work also appears in the game itself, next to pieces by other street and tattoo artists. That selection was curated by 1XRUN, a creative agency based in Detroit.
GTA 6 merch inspired by the in-game art
Wynwood Walls sells a capsule collection online with in-game art from 15 artists: water bottles, shirts, flasks, caps and keychains, among other items. Complex calls it Art of Vice City.
Jointly News frames it as a Tristan Eaton collection and lists prices from 13.11 dollars, including a six-piece bundle at 191.10 dollars. The other outlets do not confirm those figures, which come from the shop, so treat them as unverified. Calling it an Eaton-only line also clashes with the 15-artist version in Miami New Times.
GTA 6 keeps taking over Miami
Complex adds that the Miami Heat will play as the fictional Vice City team against the Milwaukee Bucks on November 18, the night before launch. It is one more sign that the game is being promoted through Miami itself. To get warmed up, check out our Vice City map or the latest on the blog.
What we still don't know
Official merch pricing is still unconfirmed, and so is whether more murals or events will appear outside Miami before launch. For now, the release date remains November 19.
