Insider Gaming, a games news outlet, reported on October 29, 2026 that GTA 6 will not let you finish the main story in one unbroken run. Its text says earlier Rockstar Games titles let you start the next mission almost as soon as the last one ended. GTA 6 would add a natural gate between some missions.
