GTA 6 gets its first song: Justice and Tame Impala

Justice and Tame Impala release "Flower in a Hurricane", the first taste of the GTA 6 soundtrack. The game arrives November 19 on PS5 and Xbox.

Rockstar has published the launch trailer for GTA 6 and, alongside it, the first details about the game's music: French duo Justice is collaborating on the soundtrack, and one song is already out, "Flower in a Hurricane", featuring Tame Impala.

The date hasn't moved: the game launches on November 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Gaming Nexus. The trailer appears on Rockstar's YouTube channel as "Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer" and went up on October 15, 2026. We could only read its title, so we won't describe what it shows.

GTA 6 music: what is confirmed

Per Gaming Nexus, Justice is part of the game's soundtrack. "Flower in a Hurricane" is the first track to come out of it, and it is already streaming on several platforms. It features Tame Impala, the same artist Justice worked with on "Neverender", which appeared in the EA FC 25 soundtrack.

The outlet adds that the soundtrack also includes Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen and Cardi B, among others it doesn't name. That list comes through the press, and we don't have Rockstar's own text backing it up, so treat it with some caution until the official page confirms it.

Where to listen and read more

Gaming Nexus links a Justice page with access to each streaming service for the song. It also points to the music section Rockstar has opened on its website, at rockstargames.com/VI/music, for anyone who wants a deeper look at the game's audio.

If you're curious about the rest of the sound design, we already covered the radio stations and podcasts Rockstar showed recently. You can find it on the blog.

What we still don't know

Only one song has been released so far. We don't know whether the other artists named are contributing new tracks or existing songs, how many tracks the soundtrack will have, or how it will fit into the in-game radio stations. We also can't say what the launch trailer actually shows, because the material available to us doesn't detail it. As soon as Rockstar publishes the full list or updates its music page, we'll cover it here.
