    Leonida Bay Newsroom

    How we verify

    Updated

Leonida Bay is a GTA VI fan website, not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two. News is signed by the Leonida Bay Newsroom. This is the method: where each fact comes from and what happens when we get something wrong.

    Which sources we use

Every story links its sources at the end, under “Sources”. Each fact is credited to whoever said it, not to the outlet repeating it.

    Official
Rockstar Games (Newswire, rockstargames.com/VI and its official channels), Take-Two Interactive (earnings and press releases) and the official PlayStation and Xbox stores.
    Press
Outlets and reporters with a track record on Rockstar. When several outlets report the same thing, we look for who published it first and from what source.
    Insiders
We only report what an outlet or a person with a track record publishes, we name the source, and we only rely on information the source itself has published openly.

How we treat what sources say

Every story names who gives each fact and links its source, next to the update date. We don't treat anything as settled: we report what each source says.

    Rockstar and Take-Two
What they say, or what appears on an official channel (store listing, age rating, press release), is reported as theirs, even when an outlet repeats it.
    Outlets and insiders
What outlets or insiders with a track record report is credited to them, and we name the source.
    Single source and inferences
If a fact comes from a single source or is our own inference, the story says so to be read with care.

    How a story gets made

The newsroom follows official sources and GTA VI press coverage every day. When something new appears, we check the fact against its origin, decide how to tell it and write the story in Spanish and in English. Since October 2026 the English version is written separately; older stories that were machine-translated say so under the date.

The standfirst answers the headline on its own: what happened, who says so and since when. If something isn't known, we say it plainly: “Rockstar hasn't detailed it”.

    How we correct mistakes

If a fact is wrong or changes (something Rockstar clarifies later), we fix the story and the “Updated” date moves to the date of the fix.

If you spot a mistake, email contacto@leonidabay.com with the story link and the source that shows it.

    Pages that get updated

The release date and price page, “What we know”, characters, map and vehicles gather what has been published. They carry their own update date.
