When does GTA VI come out?

Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will launch on November 19, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date comes after two delays: the game initially targeted 2025 and then May 26, 2026.

In May 2026, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick reaffirmed the date and said they don't expect any further postponements. The pressure is high: the company is projecting billions in revenue tied to this release.

Pre-orders are already open (since June 25, 2026) and digital pre-loading will start on November 12, so you can play the moment the game unlocks.
