The clips were posted between August 19 and 20 and, according to several media outlets, are from a recording of GTA 6 that is approximately one year old. This isn’t the first leak in this batch: CyberLeeks had previously shown driving, combat, and a scene between Jason and Cal.

The leak shows the weapon wheel split into two sections: one for weapons and another for items, similar to Red Dead Redemption 2. The weapons section has eight slots, with space for going unarmed, a pistol, a hunting knife, and a tactical flashlight, though the rest of the slots appear empty in this clip.

The items section is the one that has drawn the most attention. There, two healing items appear: pills called Zombix and a sort of EpiPen. A message that appears on screen when using the pills warns that overusing them comes at a cost:

“Repeated use of Zombix will temporarily weaken its effect on your health.”

In other words, no infinite healing loops. Overmedicating yourself in GTA 6 would come at a high cost.

The same video shows Jason stealing a police motorcycle, fleeing to a canal, and running into a group of homeless characters. This is where a taunting mechanic comes into play, modeled after the “greet or taunt” system from Red Dead Redemption 2: you can be nice to an NPC or pick on them, and if they get angry, things will end in a knife fight. In the background, on the minimap, you can see the icon for Peewees, a fast-food chain that hasn’t appeared since GTA 4.

The GTA 6 radio menu is no longer a wheel

The second video, uploaded a day later, changes gears and opens with a biplane flying over the swamp on the Leonida map on its way to Vice City, featuring volumetric fog and a draw distance that’s impressive even in a leaked build. At the 54-second mark, the new radio menu appears: instead of a wheel, there are square icons at the top of the screen, with options to mute or play music “on demand.”

Among the stations identified in the clip are Circoloco Records Radio, Dirty South Classics, Honey FM, Back Country Radio, Emotion, Stockyard FM, Symphony FM, and V-Rock. The video itself helps date the recording: the credits for one of the songs playing correspond to a track released in early 2025.

Is this GTA 6 leak reliable?
